The Woman Behind the Blog

This picture is pretty much my life in a nutshell. We are on a beach in Spain, it is snowing (how insane is that), and we have just tried to take a timed picture of us jumping in the air (clearly failed). This is my life. Hardly ever do things go as planned, and I can mostly thank my husband for being in the Navy for that. There is something else in this picture that describes my life, we are both smiling. I live a life that most could never imagine. It is hard, but it is worth it. The smiles on our faces say it all. All I ever want to do is have fun, and make life worth living. When I turn 80 I want to be able to look back on my life and say that I lived the best life that I could, and smiled the entire way. I want to be able to say that we encountered hard times, but we surpassed them and found our way back to these smiles. As a 25-year-old pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Science, I need all the fun and smiles I can get!

A little more background of yours truly, I am from an incredibly small town in Virginia, but currently, live in Spain with my husband Mike and our majestic dog Reagan. I am home alone more often than not because my husband deploys all of the time (what a drag). I am starting this blog to keep me busy and to maybe give someone else a good laugh, or just someone to relate to. If you want to read a blog that portrays real-life emotions, dramatic tragedies that occur in one’s day, then please stay a while. Kick back and read all about my life and its Griswald family road trip similarities. Also, feel free to reach out to me, as I love new friends and connecting with new people. I am a sweetheart, I promise ya!
